It’s not feasible to trade publicly as a business unless technology is the basis of the work you’re doing.
As we continue to expand in the near future, the technology must be more involved to ensure that our interactions are seamless and communication smooth. The mission I am assigned is to safeguard and preserve our Culture as we grow and expand the technological environment we have built around all of our staff.
The major fundamentals of our culture is the desire to have fun. We’ve discovered that the primary reason so many customers return to visit Dutch Bros is because of being able to speak with one of our staff members.
Do you believe technology could help?
It’s my duty to allow the team to be able to perform what they excel in. There’s technology in the shop that could be improved and automated in the tiny area so that that team members can focus more on their clients.
Furthermore, HR has technology which employees can use to manage their health insurance as well as personal data about the business. These things can be designed to bring about less friction for the final user.
If you’ve ever been an Apple user, you’re aware that they’re adept at navigating the interface and the most efficient method to use apps so you can complete what you want to achieve. They have developed a simple user experience. You switch to Android and Windows and then you must battle.
We’d like using technology as frequently as we can, yet in a way that’s not an issue for our customers.
